After obtaining degrees in Physical Education and Sports Administration from the University of Lethbridge, Scott has spent close to 30 years in volleyball. He is fully NCCP Level 1 and 2 certified, and has his Level 3 Technical certification.
Scott has coached with both Durham Attack and the Durham Rebels local volleyball clubs for many years, making huge impacts from at both.
